She stoops beside me
blue cardigan twin-set
pearls soft luminosity
her large fingers gently
guide conduits into place
the knot slips taut
potentials loosed collide
fresh water flood        salt water turmoil
bodies bleed through mirrors
mirrors bleed soft fingers
light suffuse a dark hour
her neck swings pearls chime
she lovingly coaxes clay
to makeshift being
rabbit ear aerials
transmit ready
